This summer flew by fast. Between early sessions at Caparica, packing orders in the studio, and way too much sun, I wanted to write down how it actually went. Not a polished brand recap, just what really happened.

Mornings in the water

Most of my best ideas for Stoked Guy come before 8am, sitting on my board waiting for a set. This summer had some really fun small-to-mid days at Caparica, plus a couple of proper sessions when the swell showed up. Nothing crazy, just good, honest surf. That's kind of the whole point of this brand anyway.

New drops this summer

We put out a few small batches this season. Nothing mass produced, nothing rushed. Same as always: organic cotton, printed and finished here in Costa da Caparica, plastic-free packaging on every order. If you picked up a hoodie or tee from one of these drops, thank you, genuinely. Small batch means every order actually matters to us.

Behind the scenes

A lot of people don't realize how small this operation still is. It's me, a sewing machine, boxes of blanks, and a lot of trips to the post office. This summer I also started getting Stoked Guy into a few local surf shops around Lisbon and the coast, which has been a fun new step. Seeing the shirts on a rack in a shop near the beach hits different than seeing them online.

What's next

Heading into autumn, I'm working on getting more of that consignment setup going with shops along the coast, and there's a new drop in the works. If you want a heads up when it lands, the best way is following along on Instagram @stokedguyclothing or just keeping an eye on the shop.

Thanks for being part of this. More waves, less waste. 🌊
